Calvin Hagins

Principal Deputy Assistant Director for the Office of Supervision Examinations at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Calvin is a recognized industry expert with 35 years of experience in federal supervision related to risk management practices and processes, compliance management systems, fair lending and general consumer protection issues.

Calvin’s principal responsibility at the CFPB is to lead and develop the National Program for Consumer Lending.  Those product markets include short-term, small dollar (payday) and installment lending from origination through first party collections, including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and bank short-term lending; credit cards, from advertising and origination through first-party collections (by banks) and charge-off; small business lending (in coordination with Fair Lending) and including serving as Supervision’s Implementation Lead on the Small Business Lending Rule (1071).

Chris Van Dyck

Partner at Congent Law Group

Chris Van Dyck, a partner at the Cogent Law Group, has been involved in the cannabis banking space for close to ten years, first as a financial regulatory attorney and then as general counsel and BSA officer at a financial institution. During his time as a regulatory attorney, he worked closely with financial institutions regulated by his office on compliance issues, including cannabis banking when the FinCEN guidance was issued in 2014. For the last nine years, he has focused his attention on developing a cannabis banking program, ensuring that it meets all regulatory expectations. During his tenure, the cannabis banking program at his financial institution grew extensively and became a significant revenue source.

Overnight guests park under the hotel for $15 per vehicle, per night with unlimited in and out privileges. Day guests may park in the external garage at a rate of $10 per vehicle, per day with one in and out. More information is available within our FAQ section of the menu.
